32 Employee Assistance Program The Plan provides a n Employee Assistance Program ( EAP). The EAP offers consultation, support, information and planning, as well as referrals to profes sional resources. There is no charge to you or members of your household for using the EAP program and participation is voluntary and confidential. Services provided under the EA P include such as: • Counseling: 3 in - person sessions with a counselor in your a rea at no charge. • Legal: 30 - minute free consultation and up to a 25% discount on select fees ; referrals to local providers. • Identity Theft: 60 - minute free consultation with a fraud resolution specialist. • Financial: 30 - minute free consultation with a qualified specialist and 25% off tax preparation. • Child care: Resource and referrals for child care providers, before and after school programs, camps, adoption organizations and information on parenting questions and p renatal care • Senior care: Resource and referrals for home health agencies, assisted living facilities, social and recreational programs, and long - distance care giving. • Pet care: Resource and referrals for pet sitting, obedience training, veterinarians, and pet stores. Note: Information and/or recommendations received relating to the EAP do not imply that you are eligible for the coverage under the Plan.
