33 Employee Assistance Program The Plan provides a n Employee Assistance Program ( EAP). The EAP offers consultation, support, information and planning, as well as referrals to professional resources. There is no charge to you or d members of your household for using the EAP program and participation is voluntary and confidential. Services provided under the EA P include such as: • Counseling: 3 in - person sessions with a counselor in your area at no charge. • Legal: 30 - minute free consultation and up to a 25% discount on select fees ; referrals to local providers. • Identity Theft: 60 - minute free consultation with a fraud resolution specialist. • Financial: 30 - min ute free consultation with a qualified specialist and 25% off tax preparation. • Child care: Resource and referrals for child care providers, before and after school programs, camps, adoption organizations and information on parenting questions and p renatal care • Senior care: Resource and referrals for home health agencies, assisted living facilities, social and recreational programs, and long - distance care giving. • Pet care: Resource and referrals for pet sitting, obedience training, veterinarians, and pet st ores. Note: Information and/or recommendations received relating to the EAP do not imply that you are eligible for the coverage under the Plan.
